Recently in Who I Saw Category

I travelled down to London especially to see Brett Anderson perform his new album Wilderness at the album launch at the Mermaid Theatre. I thought it was worth it.

On Sunday night I managed to venture out of the flat without my crutches for the first tie and what better place to go than Liverpool Carling Academy to see Shed Seven!

I saw the Kaiser Chiefs perform their "biggest concert to date" on Saturday night and very good it was too but . . .

I saw The Sunshine Underground supporting Happy Mondays along with FrontRunner.

On 13 October 2007, I saw the Happy Mondays in concert again. The last time being in March 2005, when Shaun Ryder was overweight and could not remember his words. Oh what a difference 21 months make. I think he would say the same of me now . . .

On 1 October 2007 I went to see Kula Shaker, who like so many this year have reformed. But at least they have a new album out!

This weekend saw the return to live music for me. After about a year's absence from seeing live music apart from Kevin Bloody Wilson!) I went to Coventry to the free Godiva music festival for the Saturday line-up.
