I've discovered a new line dance, to try out in the clubs of Liverpool . . .
My event of 2007 . . .
Well the Christmas decorations are lighting up Liverpool, Christmas songs are playing in the shops and I got my first Christmas card today. As ever, the first one I get is always from my good friends, the Pet Shop Boys.
Another concert I should be at. I have the two tickets. But a broken ankle and don't fancy trekking to Preston to see Calvin Harris. Sorry Calvin.
I paid 94 pounds via ebay for 2 tickets to see The Verve at Blackpool. The guy had good feedback. He wanted to be paid by cheque. I paid him in July. Sometime in August he received lots of negative feedback and got deregistered.
I wonder if his account got hacked into. Doesn't help me as I didn't realise until ebay's 60 day window had expired.
Yes I know I've been rubbish and not blogged for ages. None in September at all in fact. But I was a way in Canada and actually I have a lot to blog about. Hopefully I can catch up soon with that as I listened to the first 1000 UK Number One singles (I skipped some, but partially listened to all 1000). Very interesting and I will give my views later (and backdate to September probably). Also we have Radiohead releasing their album tomorrow download only, where you pay what you want, and The Charlatans releasing a free album early next year via xfm.co.uk. So lots to blog about but no time. Instead, some choice YouTube clips.
This weekend I went to check out the new iMacs at the Apple Store. You have to see before you buy (online). But I was distracted by the OKGo video that I had heard about but had never seen before. It is the one with them on treadmills, and looked great on a new silver 24inch iMac screen. I especially like the bit where they walk forward - it looks like they are skating.
