The Sunshine Underground at Liverpool Carling Academy

Now the funny thing is that I arrived after the doors open (as I usually do) but really wanted to see The Sunshine Underground. I had no idea that there were two support acts, and was quite enthusiastic about the lads on stage, but wondered why I did not seem to recognise any of their songs . . . that would be because I was listening to FrontRunner.

The Sunshine Underground started off well, but I found myself wondering why I wasn't enjoying them as much as FrontRunner. They then played my favourite song Put You In My Place but it seemed to sound worse live than on record, so here's the video.

Ho hum. Their opener was very good though and I discovered a new band in FrontRunner. They need to get signed (or issue more free tracks!)
