Kula Shaker at Liverpool Carling Academy 2

On 1 October 2007 I went to see Kula Shaker, who like so many this year have reformed. But at least they have a new album out!

The concert was mostly about the old songs, the classic singles such as Hush, Hey Dude, Govinda and of course Tattva but they also played some songs off their new album, Strangefolk.

It seemed to be quite a short set. I would have to go for Govinda as my favourite song for that night to sing along, but the greatest discovery for me would be Song Of Love / Narayana off their new album.

Although from their new album, it is a strange mix of two songs off Prodigy's album The Fat Of The Land, namely Narayan, which Crispen Mills sung on anyway, and the awesome bass line from Climbatise. Brilliant track, and made me desperate to get hold of the new Kula Shaker album.
